Dallas, our Older Adult Case Manager/Social Prescribing Link Worker, now has drop in hours on Mondays from 9 – 3 in the Floating Office at GNP. Drop by and have a chat.
We are in the process of planning activities for April. We will be inviting older adults in the community to a supper and games night on April 19. Check Registration and Events page for more info and to register.
On May 7, we will be have a Lunch and Learn called Its Not Right. It is the bystander approach to learn about how to identify Older Adult mistreatment and what you can do. Check Registration and Events to register.
We are in the process of planning for Seniors Week, June 1 to June 7. This year, to honor the 40th Anniversary of Seniors Week, we are having a Seniors Gala on June 5, to celebrate older adults in our community who stand out for their contributions that make Sundre a great place to live. There is a link to a nomination form so that you can nominate that special older adult you know. Also, we are in need of volunteers to help for various activities during the week. We will be hosting the Senior’s Fair on June 6 with a theme of Aging Better.
